Catalogue of the most complete collection of the proofs and essays of Egypt ever assembled, sold intact by Robson Lowe in 1969. The remarkable collection was originally formed by A. S. Mackenzie-Low and subsequently bought by King Fouad of Egypt. It was inherited by King Farouk, and after he was deposed the collection was sold by the state. The new owner added to the collection with items from the Byam collection, before offering it for sale in 1969.

A unique collection of proofs and essays which could never be formed again. Well illustrated, including two pages of colour plates.
