You are bidding on a Russian collection housed in 2 superb Minkus specialty albums (all pages are printed on one side and numbered ) with really sharp gold id on cover ( look at photos ) Album # 1 begins with page 1 page ( Empire issue of 1857 ) and ends on page 232 ( issues of 1965 ) Album # 2 begins with page 233 page ( issues of 1965 ) and ends on page 464 ( issues of 1985 ) You will probably never find another comprehensive stamp album like this for a long time ! Obviously there is way too many stamps and souvenir sheets to show all of them … so I decided there was really no point in showing stamps after 1956 since it's pretty much complete, mostly used with a few stamps and SS missing here and there….. Everything is Scott identified as well as having Minkus numbers for easy reference Much of the early material is not your run of the mill …. Many of these are scarce ... seldom seen or offered and really valuable When you look at the stamp albums, it's difficult to adequately represent the scope of this collection …. !..... there are many more pages with complete sets ... not all pages with stamps pre-1956 are shown Finally, you will notice that everything is neatly presented and cared for …. Simply the best of the best ! … well worth the opening bid and probably much more !
